About Dana Gordon
Dana’s journey to become a Real Estate agent began in 2008. At this time, she was a program director at a marketing services firm: her area of expertise was creating sales dialogue for strategic marking campaigns and she found herself on the front lines of communicating the “green” data center revolution. To create messaging, she trained directly by consulting professionals from HP’s Critical Facilities Services team and their engineering partners. She was inspired by the work that was being done and found that she responded to the drawings, diagrams and maps used to convey the details of the project.
Picasso once said, “You have to begin drawing to know what you want to draw.” With this in mind, she returned to the University of Georgia to complete an undergraduate degree in Political Science while also pursuing a second undergraduate degree in Interior Design. Studying the visual arts opened her mind in a truly life changing way. She found an aesthetic voice when learning to draft in the residential design course. Her passion ignited, she knew she wanted to make a professional change to do more.
As the economy recovered, she returned to marketing services and sales while never letting go of her vision of connecting people with the built environment. Now she is thrilled to join Give Back Real Estate where she can make this vision a reality. A house or a building may be described by the physical components, but a home or a business is a lasting emotional experience. Give Back Real Estate’s commitment to sharing this experience with local non-profits is yet another way to connect with the community. Whether buying or selling, your experience is her top priority.
