About Kimberly Matthews, CCIM
Kimberly grew up in Athens, graduated from Clarke Central and attended the University of Georgia in the heyday of the Athens music scene in the 1980’s. She has witnessed the exponential growth of both Athens-Clarke and Oconee counties during her lifetime and she is comfortable and knowledgeable of both the residential and commercial real estate markets in the area.
After obtaining her real estate license in 1999, she worked as a agent with Athens Classic Properties and Prudential Blanton Properties (now Berkshire Hathaway). She was awarded the New Face of the Year Award by the Athens Association of Realtors in 2000. While at Prudential Blanton, she met and partnered with Jon Head to work as the listing agents for new home construction, including the developments of Colleton Oaks, The Arches on Mitchell Street and Tamara Hills at Epps Bridge. In 2004, she completed requirements for her real estate broker’s license and attained her Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation and in 2006 was a founding partner of the commercial real estate company, Four Corners Commercial Realty Partners.
After a hiatus during the downturn of the real estate market, she returned to real estate as an associate broker with Keller Williams in 2016 and is now thrilled to join GIVE BACK Real Estate as a Listing Specialist with TEAM REIGN.
Kimberly loves Georgia Bulldog football, NASCAR racing, cooking, reading but most of all her family including her two sons, Matt and Robby Matthews, their wonderful wives, Tabetha and Alyssa, and her incredibly smart and beautiful granddaughters, Kimberly Riley and Willow Leigh. She lives in Athens with her companion and friend, John DiFelice and her amazingly handsome Shetland Sheepdog, Pepe.
